What's so inexplicable to me is why do so many women keeping getting pregnant who don't want kids?? This has been going on for more than 50 years without much of a change in numbers of abortions. It seems to me that any woman with half a brain that doesn't want children and is going to have sex should use some form of birth control. Instead the country is stuck on this abomination when we could be moving on to something more meaningful. Its almost as if the Democrats want there to be abortions so they can throw it in the face of Christians.

(Psalms 2:5) If you are truly in Christ, you are blessed, that God has called you out of the world. Make known the Gospel as much as you can.

I see a national ban on abortion as being the greatest threat to the pro life cause. That is - if you acknowledge it is a federal issue, then it flips back and forth on federal grounds. Consider- there is no federal law against homicide committed under normal circumstances within a state. It's a state level crime. There isn't enough support nationwide to sustain a national ban, largely because the church has not been in the business of articulating this. The safest position is to strengthen states' sovereignty and right to regulate abortion - as the federal government itself is becoming more and more left-leaning. A federal abortion ban would be short lived, and would probably flip over to the opposite extreme within a decade if it were even possible to pass and enforce it. That is, I would be more in favor of 50 state abortion bans than one federal ban.

I disagree with your take on Trump’s abortion stance. I think he’s trying to expand the tent to include a lot more than just Christians. From a general Republican standpoint I don’t think it confuses the base but expands the base. It’s a decent strategy politically because Christians weren’t going to vote against Trump for taking that stance.

Why do reformers complain about anything? Isn't it their beleif that EVERYONE & EVERYTHING is going according to God's predestined & preordained Will? Why? In the coming days, I suspect we're going to hear additional buyers' remorse comments not only from Dr. Mohler but also from men such as Wilson, Webbon, McIntyre, and the rest of the Christian "thought leaders" who call it "foolish" to (a) call out Trump via God's Word and (b) holding those christians with a public platform accountable for offering pragmatism rather than Biblical vision for civil government. These men have no...zero...basis for making statements like "I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed and have to wonder at the political logic." or "It's better that Trump would veto pro-life legislation than what Harris would do." or "I'm morally offended there would be a lack of clarity on something so basic as the sanctity of human life." or " We are left with one candidate who carries some of our hopes and a candidate who carries all of our fears on this issue." When you live your political life by pagan pragmatism vs. Biblically principled Christianity you end up right here...and worse. Repent church...use the freedom God has graciously granted us in America to vote based upon God's Word..and build a Biblical vision for Civil government, Church government, Family government, and self governing.
